"The Potential to Be Great"

11am, Michael Brundy, Guest Speaker

Sanctuary & Livestream

Is there a moral obligation to be great in life? Is there a requirement that you be successful in life? Do you really have to live up to your full potential and be your best?

Maybe not, but if you don’t live a life seeking success, seeking growth and seeking to be great, you won’t be very happy. Happiness depends on progress and on growth. If we are not progressing and growing, if we don’t see a future that is better than the present, if we are not living fully, we won’t be happy.

We do this by serving others.

That’s how you become great.

"Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve," Dr. King said. "You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”

Join Michael this Sunday to learn how you can take three spiritual steps to greatness.

About Michael:

Michael Brundy is a motivating and inspiring speaker and storyteller. He retired from AT&T with 39 years of service and he never missed a day of work.

Michael identifies his passion as a desire to communicate with and empower others. He does this through his writings and his public speaking. He is a member of the National Speakers Association, a member of the Toastmaster International Hall of Fame, an author of four books and the president of his own speaking company, called I Speak. He is also a marathon runner. Michael is a member of CSL Dallas and has served on their Core Council and as a Platform Assistant.

Michael was born in Leavenworth, Kansas where he graduated from high school. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science from Emporia State University, in Emporia, Kansas and a Master of Arts degree in Business from Lindenwood College, St. Charles, Missouri. But he would say his most valuable lessons came from his elders, teachers and life experiences.

Michael believes that we can all do more with our lives. He believes life is an evolving and developing process. He believes our attitude and our vision can determine if we are successful in life.

But Charles Fillmore, born in 1854, is one of the foremost theologians, philosophers, and thinkers in the movement we call New Thought today. A true American mystic, Fillmore’s writing and teaching was innovative for his day and well ahead of the times.

Reverend Anne Tabor, M.Div., is available by appointment for spiritual counseling sessions at Unity of Arlington in a safe and supportive environment. As an ordained Unity minister, Rev. Anne, offers spiritual counseling to individuals seeking a deeper under-standing of themselves and their divine power within to solve life's challenges. Spiritual counseling can help if there is a need for inspiration, crisis support, or healing in any area of your life. Prayer and meditation are an integral part of Unity's spiritual principles, and an essential practice in realizing the answers we seek. We believe in the transformative power of affirmative prayer. You are a unique expression of God. Spiritual counseling will remind you of that!

Spiritual counseling is offered on a love offering basis. While no specific fee is expected or suggested, we do invite each person to leave a love offering. For more details, please call the church office 817-467-5151.
