“Zeal! Celebrating the Divine Spark in All Creation”
Rev. Rebecca Rickey
11am, Sanctuary and Livestream on Facebook
Are you enthusiastic about life? What keeps you going, inspires you to move forward, and motivates you to do the things that are yours to do? Perhaps you’re a “zealot”! This week, we’ll explore the spiritual power of Zeal and discover how divine enthusiasm can help us move through the dark spaces and into the light. Zeal is the divine spark within us—the flame that ignites our hearts with passion for the possible. Join us as we celebrate the power of Zeal and the divine spark that lives within all creation!

We are pleased to have
Andrew Robin as our
Guest Artist this Sunday.
|
|
|
Andrew Robin is a violinist and musician from Hammond, Louisiana, who fell in love with the violin at age 10. By age 13, Andrew had already performed as a featured soloist with the Southeastern Louisiana University Orchestra. He studied at the Algoma Conservatory of Music in Ontario and the Longy School of Music in Boston, later earning a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance for percussion. Andrew has performed in a wide variety of styles with artists including AdamMarie, Katsük, Gary Devlin, Spoonfed Tribe, and Abbey Brown and the Sound. When he’s not performing, Andrew flies a Boeing 767 around the world as a commercial airline pilot—because apparently playing one instrument and having one career wasn’t enough.

"From Overwhelmed to Overflowing:
Trusting the Presence Within"
Rev. Rebecca Rickey
11am, Sanctuary and Livestream on Facebook
Have you ever felt overwhelmed by life? Sometimes the people, circumstances, responsibilities, and demands of the world can simply feel like too much to take in, let alone handle. In this age of instant information, instant communication, and 24/7 stimulation from around the world, it’s easy to become over-informed, over-stimulated, and emotionally exhausted.
What if, in the midst of all, there is a Presence within us that is always enough? There is a Divine Order at work in the universe even when we may not be aware of it. The Presence is within us, in ourselves, in others, and everywhere. Together, we’ll explore what it means to trust the Presence within, release what no longer serves us, and open ourselves to the Divine flow that is always available.
