“Making A Way Out Of No Way"

Dr. Tracy Brown

11am, Sanctuary and Livestream on Facebook

Sometimes it feels like the world we live in is more committed to pain and hatred than love and harmony. In these times of political polarity and personal challenges, what can we learn from the Black community about tenacity and resilience? Let’s close out Black History Month with Dr. Tracy and her reminder that resilience is just the outer expression of our faith and spiritual strength.

We are pleased to have

Rickie Jones as our guest artist this week.

Rev. Rebecca Rickey

11am, Sanctuary and Livestream on Facebook

In part one of this message we will follow Edwene “up the steps” toward expanding our understanding of finding our divine purpose, and the vital importance of forgiveness in our lives. Whether the concept is new to you, you’ve been seeking to improve your abundance and prosperity consciousness, or you are living your best prosperous life, there is something here for you.

Books By Black New Thought Authors

Rev. Sandra Campbell, the executive director of the Unity Urban Ministerial School and an associate minister at Unity Temple on the Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri, has curated an extensive list of books you may want to read.

She says: "Black leaders of New Thought have been sharing their wisdom for decades through books. Here are some of those currently in print from authors in Unity, Centers for Spiritual Living, and the Universal Foundation for Better Living."

To access the list, click the button below.

Find yourself in need of a midweek recharge? Then join our new meditation group, Still Point. We will meet on Zoom on Wednesday evenings at 7pm.  Janette Jordan, LUT candidate, is the facilitator. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or a complete beginner, our sessions offer a peaceful space to cultivate mindfulness, reduce stress, and connect with a supportive community.

Information about the Still Point Wednesday Meditation is listed on the Unity of Arlington website under the heading, "Services."

Child Care and Youth Circle

Thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers and support from a local school counselor, we’re able to offer a safe, nurturing space where children and teens can engage in age-appropriate activities, connect with peers, and feel part of a warm, accepting community.

We would love to see your children and are excited to welcome more young minds into our loving and inclusive circle.

To all those celebrating this month...

Wishing you health, happiness, and all the best on your birthday. Enjoy every moment!
